Warm Up From Winter with Caza Trail Coffee

Caza Coffee #ad (1 of 1)

This Caza Trail & Grove Square post is part of a campaign on behalf of Mom Central Consulting for Sturm Foods, Inc. I received a promotional item and product samples as a thank you for participating.

With our recent cold weather that moved through we had our fair share of ice and snow.   Truth be told, I really love the snow.  It brings back great memories of good times growing up in Utah.  During the winter time we spent days skiing, sledding just enjoying the winter!

One BIG difference about the winter weather here in Arkansas versus Utah, the humidity!  In Utah it was cold, don’t get me wrong but it was a dry cold.  Here in Arkansas, it is the cold that is so wet your bones hurt kinda cold.  With this last round of winter weather I felt it even more than before.  I am ever so thankful for our good heater but I also thoroughly enjoy warming up from the inside out with warm beverages!

After building snowmen and making snow angels the kids were ready to be warmed up as well!  Hot chocolate was requested as soon as they entered the house.  Since we recently were sent Caza Trail Dark Roast and Grove Square Hot Cocoa and French Vanilla cappuccino now was a perfect time to crack open the boxes.  Bryan really enjoyed me making him coffee every morning we were iced in and Austin loved his hot cocoa.  Definitely a hit with the family!

Although we don’t often have marshmallows in the house, I caved and purchased some for Addie since she has been doing so well with her new dairy free diet.  Austin enjoyed a few marshmallows in his hot cocoa.  Although I couldn’t try it myself, he thought it was “completely delicious” in his words.

I love the idea behind the single serve portions.  As a mom of three littles, I love the ease of popping in a cup and waiting for the delicious brew.

  1. My children always ask for hot cocoa after coming in from playing in the snow! Its sweet! My daughter will always ask for a piece of ice in hers too! Such a cute memory for her to make for me!

  2. My husband and I don’t drink coffee but we love our hot chocolate. And we love it with lots of whipped cream on top. It is the best. I want some know, LOL.

  3. I LOVE cocoa, but have been craving a dark chocolate version I could really celebrate. The single serve aspect is intriguing, although I wonder about how much waste having multiple little cups will create. I suppose we’ll see a wave of single serving cup crafts on Pinterest pretty soon 🙂

  4. we are a big hot cocoa fans in our family. We drink it in a variety of ways, but seriously love the dark chocolate and peppermint varieties. Love that these offer those flavors!

  5. Are those your kids?? They look so sweet. 🙂 I completely know the cold that you’re talking about.. it’s horrible when you feel it all the way to your bones… I don’t drink cocoa or coffee but I’ll have the marshmallows!

  6. I enjoy my coffee black with Splenda or Agave Nectar, whichever I may have in my home at the time. I do occasionally add some cinnamon or chocolate powder, but I’m one of those weirdos who likes their coffee black. Cocoa I drink the same- straight edge, no whipped cream or marshmallows.

  7. Do you know what I would do to build a snowman. It is still so hot here in Florida – we do still enjoy hot cocoa though! I would love to try this, sometimes easy and delicious is better.
