2012 DIY Goals/Project List

There are always so many projects I would love to try, many in the works, and many that were started and well started…  One of my goals this year is to actually finish many of the embroidery projects I have going right now.  I love to set goals and work towards them.  I also have realized that as an overachiever I also have to be realistic.  I only have 24 hours in a day and need 48.

As I starting making a to do list for 2012 I quickly realized I didn’t want to become so discouraged because I couldn’t accomplish what I set out to do.  I decided to scale back.  I selected the most important projects that I wanted to accomplish this year one for each month & 1 (I am sure there will be more added).

Homemade Marshmellows (Without gelatin & corn syrup) I have been working on this one and haven’t quite mastered it yet.

Homemade Vanilla Extract

Homemade Soap

Homemade Lotion

Homemade Lip Moisturizer

Homemade Candles

Curtains for Austin’s Room

Curtains for Addie’s Room

DIY Rain Barrel

Upcycled Clothing Comforter’s for the Children’s rooms

Upcycled no sew rag rug

Make Portable Crayon Rolls for Austin & Addie

Repurpose/Upcycle Clothing for Dresses for Addie

Make Bow Ties for Austin

That is a start!  There are many more projects I would love to tackle, but I feel this is a do-able list, one that I can accomplish.  Do you have DIY or Upcycling projects you would like to accomplish this year?  If so, please feel free to share!
