25 Kid Friendly Travel Snacks

I participated in a Blogger Activation on behalf of Mom Central Consulting for Stonyfield. I received coupons to facilitate my shopping trip and a promotional item to thank me for participating.

down-the-road (1 of 1)We often find ourselves on the go.  Living in the country, we travel just over 15 miles to get into town.  For some families that might prove to be a problem, but not for ours.  We love living in the country and my children are travelers.  Most days, after cuddle time is over the question is asked, “Where are we going today?”  I am very excited on days when my response is, “We are staying home!”  The kids, well they usually ask, “Then where can we go today?”

For most families a two-hour trip one-way for an afternoon would seem crazy, but we do it all the time.  Packing fun things to keep the kids occupied is one way we try to pass the time.  Packing lunches and snacks always helps the time pass quickly because it keeps the kids occupied.  We will be spending a great deal of time in the car this summer, with several road trips planned.  We actually counted it and we will be journeying through at least eight states if we take direct routes but possibly more if we decide to venture to more scenic routes.

Having plenty of healthier food options while on the go helps to prevent those tempting drive-through moments.  When I am traveling I already have to enough to weigh me down.  I think the key is having a variety of snacks!  Here are a list of our favorite kid friendly travel snacks.

I am all about convenience while on the go but I don’t want to fill my children with junk!  All of the above choices are great options to have on hand.  While there are many things you can not control while traveling, I love that I can make sure my children have many organic snacks available.

Stonyfield yogurt pouches come in their YoBaby, YoToddler and YoKid lines, all geared for just the right age of your child.  Words of caution, they are addicting!  Plan to have more than one a person because one will not be enough!

My kids are all about berries, so both of the YoKids flavors were approved by Austin!  The strawberry being his favorite.  Seriously, the first pouch was gone in under a minute.  They are perfect for on-the-go snacks because nothing is required to eat them and they are virtually mess free.

I love that all of the Stonyfield organic yogurt pouches contain pure organic ingredients and never have high fructose corn syrup or artificial flavors.  Being a Yo-Getter for Stonyfield I can say they are one of the brands I trust the most!  They have great communication and always try to stay one step ahead of the game.   To find out about all the latest happening at Stonyfield, be sure to connect with them on Facebook, Twitter, Instagram and Pinterest.

So share, what are your favorite snacks that join you on your travels?
