Getting Sparkling Clean Dishes with Cascade

I participated in a campaign on behalf of Mom Central Consulting for Cascade. I received a product sample to facilitate my review and a promotional item as a thank you for participating.

Cascade Planium pacsAs a busy Mama of two with a third to arrive soon, I feel like dishes are something that are never ending.  I hate waking up in the morning to a sink of dishes from the night before and yet some days by the end of the day, I am just too tired.

The problem, dried food.  If I don’t rinse the dishes that evening, the next morning I have to scrub them.  Then it is almost pointless to use the dishwasher as I have done most of the work by hand.  What a waste of water to wash twice!

While I have been using the same dishwashing tabs for months, I love the eco-friendly aspect but sometimes I am still left with streaks on my dishes or part of the tablet does not dissolve.  Although we really try to stick with more eco-friendly cleaning options, sometimes you have to go with what actually works.  The very first time I used the Cascade© Platinum Pacs I was  shocked!  I mean totally shocked!  There was such a huge noticeable difference.

They not only cleaned the dishes and they were spotless but the inside of my dishwasher was cleaner!  With only one use!

How it works: Cascade© Platinum Pacs feature an advanced triple action recipe that is specially designed to
leave dishware virtually spot-free and help prevent the build-up of hard-water film on dishwasher walls.

dishwasher machine sparkling and deliver a variety of dish care benefits:

1. Powers away tough, 24 hour stuck-on food

2. Eliminates the need to pre-wash dishes

4. Delivers exceptional dishware shine

Cascade Individual Pac

Although I haven’t done much food blogger recently, I often find myself taking pictures of our meals.  I am working hard on my photography as I know I need to improve but even the dishes looking cleaner make the pictures stand out more!  Pictures are worth 1000 words and sometimes having a clear, sharp picture can be the determining factor of someone clicking through to see your recipe.

Now, more than ever, people eat with their eyes, and the evidence is all over sites like Facebook and Instagram. With that in mind, Top Chef judge and editor of Food+Wine magazine, Gail Simmons, has partnered with Cascade to discuss why presentation is just as important as preparation.  You can see more by watching Gail Simmons YouTube Cascade Videos.

From prep to plating: It’s more than just a great-tasting recipe, but also perfect presentation.  Sparkling dishes, shining flat ware and spot-free glasses truly let you put your best food forward with culinary creations that pop!

To celebrate the new Cascade© Platinum Pacs, they are having a fun “#MyPlatnium” photo contest on Instagram!   To see the full contest details head over to their blog.  Each week, two contestants will be selected to receive a brand new Whirlpool dishwasher. Then one grand prize winner will receive a Platinum kitchen makeover!

After using the Cascade© Platinum Pacs for just over a week, Hubby wants to make the switch!  I love how clean and sparkling my dishes are and the fact that the pac dissolves each time with not one dish needing to be rewashed is a huge motivating factor!

Have you tried out the new Cascade© Platinum Pacs?

  1. I just recently tried the Cascade pacs. (A) I love the pac concept. It’s great for my 5 year old to help do the dishwasher without a bigger mess. (B) The Cascade pacs are working much better than my $1 store or store brand detergent for sure!
