This shop sharing why going back to college with the Walmart Best Plans and the Alcatel phone has been compensated by Collective Bias, Inc. and its advertiser. All opinions are mine alone. #Phones4School #CollectiveBias
Each year when the kids head back to school I have the thought that maybe one day I will venture back to college to take the final few courses I need for my business degree. It has been over twelve years since I was in college and my how the times have changed! Now, one marriage and three children later…my life is full and my days are even fuller.
My mornings are spent being awaken to the pitter-patter of little feet making their way to our bedroom. The kids try to sneak into bed, every morning. We share a few cuddles and then start crawling out of bed. The day begins quickly with breakfast and school starting by 8am. If I can start at 8am or even 8:30am I can usually stay on track. By afternoon, my brain is pretty well fried. By evening, I am not sure how I would retain enough to actually be able to do school lessons of my own so my hats off to any mom that actually tackles school and motherhood!
One of the main reasons I have not returned to college is that I do not wish to leave the children. On the rare occasion that I leave the children they can act as if I have abandoned them. While I try to not look back once I am out of the house, I can never resist! There they are, with their faces planted in the windows watching me leave. Sometimes with smiles waving, other times with sad faces. I welcome the smiles and waves.
Both the older children know my cell phone number, so it makes them feel at ease that they can call any time they need me. This also means there are days I receive 20 phones call! On those days, I am so happy that I have one of the lowest priced unlimited plans that lets us stay connected and not worry about the costs!
I have shared previously about using the Walmart Family Mobile service and you can get an amazing deal of $34.88/month for Unlimited Talk Text and Data/Web for the first line, for the life of the plan. Pair that amazing deal with a smartphone for under $100 and you have the perfect plan and phone combination for anyone who wants to stay connected while on-the-go. I may not quite be ready to return to college, but if/when I do, I will be prepared to stay connected with my loved ones!
On our recent shopping trip to Walmart, my little helper found a mini buggy and thought she needed to pick out our phone! After explaining the features of the Alcatel One Touch Fierce smartphone (which on rollback from $129.88 to $99.88), she was convinced “she” would like it too! With a 4.5″ touchscreen, 5mp camera with flash and being 4G capable, it will be a great way to stay connected when I am away from the kids or as a great tool to keep them busy when we are together!
