Crafting Fun with text-UR® Foam from Fibre-Craft

textur-it 1

With our homeschooling officially underway, we have been playing a lot of catch up!  Although we hit it hard since we have been back home from the hospital this is our first week we are actually going to be able to have a normal schedule.  Although we have had several craft projects planned I couldn’t justify spending an entire afternoon away from school.

While we were away at the hospital, we received a package from the kind folks at Fibre-Craft to review that included some of their new text-UR® Foam projects.  This was a perfect way for the kids to get crafty without spending too much time away from what needed to be done!

Set aside those crayons and construction paper, and try something totally different with text-UR® Foam crafting kits.  Other than making bookmarks and masks we haven’t used foam much in our crafting but these take craft foam to a whole new dimension. You’ll literally feel the fun by combining interesting textures with an added 3D element to make craft projects stand up and stand out!

With low prices ranging from $2.99 to $8.99 even the most budget conscience can relish the art of making something with their hands, no drawing, coloring or painting required. Use the 3D space-urs™, which are peel and stick, stackable squares included in most text-UR Foam products to create an instant wow effect and make ordinary arts & crafts projects extraordinary.

The kids loved using the kits to make bugs and animals!  They had a great time and it was something that with just a small amount of guidance they were able to work on together so I could work alongside them in the kitchen.  Really, once I opened the packages they wanted full freedom.  Addie was easily able to look at the pictures and put the pieces together herself.

For older children they offer their crafty packages that are whole foam sheets that you are able to create with open-ended creativity!  Austin enjoyed the pre-cut kits as well.  They were both so proud of their creations!

I love foam type products like that. Maybe because they aren’t messy at all, that is why they are so great for crafts.
