Disney Princess Gifts for My Princess

Ever since leaving Disney in August, the kids have talked about going back.  The more they look at pictures online, and Austin oh so love maps so they realize that Disney has so much more to offer.  We have talked about planning our next trip back ever since arriving back at home.

While we have been planning and then thought it wasn’t going to work out, we are getting excited to reveal to the kids we are very close to selecting new dates to return.

What better way to tell them that we are going back to Disney than with Disney presents!

Many of you know that Cinderella was released from the Disney vault for the first time in seven years on October 2nd and since then, our Walmart store has been full of Disney Princess merchandise.  The kids get excited with seeing the outline of the castle and just the Disney name.  Although it took a little bit of time, we finally decided on a few products we would purchase for the children, today though we focused on Addie.

Before we headed off, I had downloaded the Royal Ball App on my phone so we could use it to have some fun while we shopped.  Little did I realize I had left my phone in town that day.   In the car on our way, my sister came to the rescue and we downloaded the app to her phone.  It took just a few minutes and we were ready to go to the ball, on the app anyways.

We had so much fun with the app while shopping.  You get to choose your favorite Disney princess outfits and accessories to wear, decorating your own carriage and attending a royal ball for their first royal dance.

Although we didn’t have success finding many of the trigger points in the store, we were able to unlock the carriage on the front cover of the Cinderella Diamond edition Blu-Ray/DVD combo pack.  The kids thought it was really cool to see it come to life.

I know we were quite a sight for others to see while I was spinning with the kids following the instructions on the app. Once we reached the end of the app we were able to take a picture of our princess.  She thought she was pretty special (that is because she really is!)

If you are headed to shop at Walmart, be sure to download the app for your little ones to enjoy while you are shopping.  Be on the lookout for the Disney Princess logo, Cinderella’s image and the Fairy Godmother on select Disney Princess merchandise pallets with to unlock more interactive games and extra content.

I didn’t plan well because the store was packed with holiday shoppers from the Shop with a Cop Christmas Program.  Even though the shelves were some what empty, there was still a large selection of Disney products to choose from.  You can see my entire shopping experience in my #DisneyPrincessWMT Google+ album.

After some consideration, we purchased a Huffy Disney Princess bike that I just know Addie will be so excited to receive.  While we were looking in the store, she insisted she needed the pink Princess tricycle.  I think that is because that is what she currently has but I know she will love the carriage basket on the handlebars for her baby, and the tassels!

They were out of the second item we were going to purchase so we opted to go with the Little People Princess Songs Palace.  Addie loves singing and still loves to play with her Little People so it was an easy decision.  The last item we picked up were  mini Princess babies with a swing.  She loves the mini babies.

Then we were off to wrap our gifts but without paper!  Check back in a few days to see how we are going to surprise the kids with their gifts and let them know we are headed back to Disney!
