EcoCentric Mom to Be January & February Review

January EcoCentric Mom to Be

Being an EcoCentric Mom blogger, I receive my box for free to review.  All opinions shared are 100% my own.

Being a first time mom-to-be is exciting and yet nerve-racking at the same time.  You are uncertain about so many things.  Your body is changing every day.  Do I worry about each little pain or odd feeling or are the normal due to the fact that I have a growing baby inside me?  If you have had a child, you know exactly what I am talking about!

There are so many things to decide on, like what you do actually “need” for a new baby versus what will collect dust.  What type of soaps should I use to not break the baby out?  What do I need to change that I use on my own body?

The questions truthfully could be unending.  While I seem to turn to my sisters (I have four!) for advice, I love that there are also service available like EcoCentric Mom that take some of the guess-work of finding the right products for you to try.

We have been sharing about being a part of EcoCentric Mom Blogger team for the past six months but this month my sister Sarah also received the EcoCentric Mom to Be to share with you this month (as she is a first time mom-to-be)!  We are so excited!

January EcoCentric Mom to Be Box

Take a sneak peek of what was included:

Pretty Mommies Let’s Be Clear Facial Cleanser – I am super excited to try out this natural facial cleanser.  It is free from Parabens, Phthalate, Formaldehyde and so many other nasty things you do not want in your blood stream passing down to the baby.

Heart Bracelet by House of Metalworks – This is something special just for mom!  A handmade, one-of-a-kind bracelet made here in the US with recycled/reclaimed materials.  I love this!

pur-Absorb Iron – Iron is vital during your pregnancy and just taking a supplement isn’t enough!  Just because we take it doesn’t mean our bodies absorb it.  pur-Absorb is a liquid iron formula that is easier for your system to absorb to ensure you get what you need.  (It doesn’t taste good but we are talking about iron, even the pills are quite nasty!)

GRANDMA’s Pure and Natural Lye Soap – This is a natural soap that contains no detergents, dyes or fragrances.  I can’t wait to try this soap out!

Sjaak’s Organic Fair Trade Chocolate Hearts – Organic chocolate!   Need I say more?  High quality ingredients that create super rich and smooth chocolate that melts in your mouth.

LIPA by Healthy Houseful – This is a home based company that creates organic, hand-crafted products for everyday life.  They use all of my favorite products and make a super smooth lip balm to keep your lips hydrated.

Pure + Remedy Vitamin C Facial Serum & Precious Drops Hydrating Serum – Pure + Remedy are a holistic company that believes the best care comes from nature.  I am excited to try this around my eyes to see how it works.

Overall the box was valued over $88!  I was very impressed with the quality of the products as well as the variety.  For only $24 a box shipped, this is an awesome deal!
