Get Interactive with an Ozobot Robot

ozobot review (1 of 6)

Today, we spend so much time with technology.  From school to games and even study, digital technology is now a part of our lives.  We try to ensure the children have the proper amount of engaging playtime that stimulates them.  We often play board games and puzzles as a family.

Who would have thought the next generation of board games would combine the two!  A game where the pieces are interactive!  Robots actually!  One-inch robots that moves kids from augmented reality back to physical play.  When we were offered a Ozobot to play with in exchange for feedback, I knew the children would be in love!

Programmed to use color, your child can control the movements of Ozobot to follow a path forward, backwards, fast, slow, right or left.  You can create paths on paper with colored markers or download an app like OzoPath or OzoDraw and play with Ozobot on your smartphone or tablet.

While my children haven’t quite gotten the hang of the color scheme just yet, I am sure it won’t be long before they realize that each color controls a different movement.  The robot is programed to recognize the colors and respond!

Robots….what little child doesn’t love robots?

Mine?  LOVE them!  Check out the short clip below to see them in action.  Even the baby’s excitement shows.

The kids are having a blast with their @OZOBOT robots. Hopefully on the blog later today… #client

Since the Ozobot has arrived at our house, the kids have had a blast creating paths, making up stories, role playing and just having fun with their new robots!  The Ozobot was created with the older kids in mind, but even my little ones had a blast!

With four different skins included, they had fun changing their robot and naming each one.  Guess which color was named R2D2?

  1. It would be a toss up between my kids and my husband….They would love to race them, but I know he would secretly want to play with them.
