Homemade Cleaning Recipes: Window & Glass Cleaner

homemade window & glass cleaner | cleaning recipes | http://anfiveash.wpengine.com
Homemade cleaning recipes are not only economical but also great for the environment and your family! Some of the best homemade cleaners are the simple ones, really truly simple! We haven’t used chemical cleaners in our house now on a regular basis in such a long time that when I occasionally use something, the kids ask me what the terrible smell is. I am very sensitive to them but so are the kids. If they smell so bad from the off-gassing, why are we using them in our homes?

Seriously, if you are not using homemade cleaners, you have to give them a try!

Homemade Window & Glass Cleaner

1/4 cup white vinegar
1 tablespoon cornstarch
2 cups warm water

Add the ingredients to a spray bottle and shake it until the cornstarch is dissolved. Spray liberally onto the glass and wipe with crumpled newspapers, (if you are not using these in your gardens). Using crumbled newspapers will actually prevent streaking! If you are not a fan of using newspaper, try using a repurposed cloth diaper or cotton rag.

Since there are no harsh chemicals, I let my kiddos spray until their heart is content on glass doors and windows! All my kids love to help me clean, except when it comes to their own messes!

Where will you start first?
