I so love the name and the adorable cats that are the Moody Sister’s trademark. Moody Sisters are two sisters who grew tired of combating the moodiness of their skin and the unreliable ingredients in mass-produced skin care products. So they did something about it! Together the sisters designed a skin care line to combat dry to sensitive skin and oily skin using natural products and aromatherapy scent combos with essential oils. All of their products are preservative free, paraben free and use 100% organic and natural ingredients.
The two sisters, Jess & Whitney hand craft all their products right in their very own kitchen! I love to support local businesses, family owned businesses and hand-made items. In their Moody Sister Etsy shop they sell handmade soaps, facial scrubs, body washes, body lotion, lip balms and so many other items! They make all their batches fresh weekly, where else can you get service like that, made just for you!
I have dry but sometimes oily skin, such a harsh combination. I love to be able to use scrubs that aren’t so abrasive my skin feels like I have used sand paper on it, but are still firm enough to really exfoliate and leave my skin feeling refreshed. I am a fan of Moody Sisters’ products and this product is no exception!
Sugar scrubs are not as harsh as other scrubs and I can actually use this one of my face! They are great for those rather dry hands, elbows and feet as well. While I was gently massaging my face with the scrub, it gave me a reason to close my eyes and just relax for a few minutes. Take a few deep breaths and enjoy massaging your skin. It left me feeling refreshed and my skin feeling softer and actually more hydrated. I love it!
