Meal Plan 01/09/12-01/16/12

After a crazy week, I hope this week will be a little more normal and we can get back into a semi-normal routine.  I still have more training to do but thank goodness it will be local and only 1 1/2 miles from my house rather than 2+ hours!  So here is our meal plan for the week and I will share many of these recipes soon, some I am trying and tweaking for the first time so I hope they turn out well!  We usually have leftovers or a simple lunch but in the coming weeks I am going to start looking to add simple lunch ideas to help get out of  the rut.


Breakfast-Whole Wheat Chocolate Chip Banana Nut Muffins/Pinneapple

Dinner-Easy Chicken Lo Mein


Breakfast-Homemade Breakfast Burritos/Banana

Dinner-Vension Crockpot Roast/Potatoes/Carrots (I didn’t make over the weekend)


Breakfast-Breakfast Cookies/Apple Slices

Dinner-Baked Lemon Peppered Cod/Homefries/Steamed Broccoli/Salad


Breakfast-AppleSauce Bread

Dinner-Cheesey Beef & Rice Casserole/Green Beans or Peas/Homemade Rolls


Breakfast-Scrambled Eggs w/ Cheese/Bacon/Apple Slices

Dinner-Pasta & Meatballs/Salad


Breakfast-Peanut Butter Chocolate Chip Oatmeal/Fruit

Dinner-Chicken & Spinach Alfredo Pizza/Veggie Sticks


Breakfast-Cinnamon Sugar Muffins/Apple Slices

Dinner-Grilled Steaks/Sweet Potato Casserole/Green Veggie or Salad

    1. Thanks for coming by Virgina! Meal planning is a life saver come 5pm as well as a huge budget saver! I try to plan simple meals. Right now we are trying to eat through some of what is in my freezer. So I will be planning meals around what I need to worj through over the next couple of weeks!
