Recipe: Cheesecake Brownies

Hubby and the kids love brownies.  These are the easiest recipe and yet so delicious!  You can make them just as regular brownies or add in the cream cheese mixture to  make so delicious cheesecake brownies!  Yum!


  • 1 Cup of Melted Butter or Coconut Oil
  • 1 1/2 Cups of Sugar or Sucanat
  • 2 Teaspoons of Vanilla
  • 4 Eggs
  • 2/3 Cup of Cocoa
  • 1 Cup of Flour (I use Oatmeal or Whole Wheat)
  • 1/2 Teaspoon of Salt
  • 1/2 Teaspoon of Baking Soda

Cheesecake Ingredients:

  • 8 Ounces of Cream Cheese, softened
  • 3-4 Tablespoons of Honey
  • 2 Tablespoons of Milk


Preheat your oven to 350 degrees.  Lightly grease a 9×13 pan or an 8×8 pan.

Cream together your melted butter or coconut oil and sweetener until thoroughly mixed.   Beat in the vanilla and eggs.  Add your remaining ingredients and mix well. Turn into your greased pan.

Mix your cream cheese, honey and milk together until you have a fairly smooth consistency.  Drop by spoonfuls onto your brownie batter.

Run a butter-knife in side to side motions to create a marble effect.

Bake at 350 for 23-25 minutes using a 9×13 pan or 35-38 minutes using an 8×8 pan.
