Recipes: Delicious Easy Peach Cobbler Recipe

If you have been following my blog you know I purchased a 20lb box of peaches from Azure Standard that were so delicious & juicy!  
We have been eating them but I really purchased them to make preserves and can them.  So Monday I decided that I would make a peach cobbler.  It was so good and a few of the peaches were extremely ripe.  I had a large 4-cup measuring cup that I was peeling and slicing my peaches into and my daughter was eating them almost as fast as I could peel them; with a smile and juice running down here chin Addie said, “Yummy Mommy”.  I would have to agree!  So here is the peach cobbler recipe that I really love.

Ingredients for Crumb Crust:
1 Cup of Flour
1/2 Cup of Sugar
1/2 Tsp of Cinnamon
1/4 Tsp of Salt
1/2 Cup of Butter-1 Stick
Ingredients for the Bubbly part of the Cobbler:
4 Cups of peeled & sliced Peaches (about 2 1/2 lbs)
1 Tbls of Lemon Juice
1/2 Cup of Sugar
1/4 Cup of Flour
1/2 Tsp of Cinnamon
First Preheat the oven to 400 Degrees.  Then butter a 9×9 square baking dish.
In one bowl combine the crust ingredients.  Cut the butter into small slivers and cut in with a pastry cutter or fork.  Try to cut the butter so that no pieces are larger than the size of a small pea (should look similar to cornmeal).

In a second bowl combine the peaches and ingredients for the bubbly part of the cobbler!  Gently toss with a wooden spoon to coat evenly.  
Spoon gently into buttered baking dish.
Sprinkle the crust mixture over the peach mixture.  Bake 20-25 minutes covered, then an additional 25-30 minutes until the crust is golden brown and bubbly. 
Then allow to cool for a few minutes and dig in!  This is delicious with homemade whipped cream or vanilla ice cream!
