I don’t know about you, but I love to cook and bake but it seems that I am always doing dishes! When I cook 3 times a day and do not have a dishwasher (other than myself, my 2 year old daughter and 3 year old son) it seems that there is always a lurking pile waiting to be washed.
This particular day I had made scrambled eggs and let them sit a little too long. I don’t use non-stick skillets or butter in my eggs and they always seem to stick but this day even more so! (As you can see).
I was talking with my sister on the phone who reminded me to sprinkle a couple of teaspoons of baking soda into the pan. I can’t believe I forgot that!
Just add water and let it simmer on low while you are doing other dishes or for about 10-15 minutes.
Then you can literally just lift away! It is so easy as so much better than using a sticky soap filled metal pad! It works so well, you should give it a try with your next “burnt offering” or baked on goo!
It is truly amazing what a little Baking Soda can do!
