It’s easy to get caught up in the same old routine. Eating the same thing for breakfast, the same few things for lunch and dinner time, it can really be a rut. Sometimes we need different, sometimes we need a change, sometimes we even need bold.
I have always loved tuna sandwiches and tuna with crackers. When I was pregnant with my second child I craved tuna fish and pickles. Although many times when I enjoy tuna, I still eat pickles, I thought I would try something a little different with the new StarKist Tuna Creations BOLD. Although I have only personally tried four varieties so far, there are six different available:

The BOLD flavors allow you to create a simple pairing that is quick and easy. Since I love to add a little hot sauce on my eggs, I decided to make a BOLD Tapatío Egg Pita. You have to love a little (or big) kick, because the Tapatío really fires up your tastes buds with the infused flavor of hot sauce with a hint of lime but it really adds a flavorful touch. The thing about this dish is you can make it in a matter of minutes, change the flavor with the BOLD variety you choose and can serve it for breakfast, lunch or dinner.
- StarKist Tuna Creations BOLD Tapatío pouch
- 2 eggs
- 4 tablespoons milk (Almondmilk or regular)
- salt & pepper to taste
- 1/2-1 cup spinach
- pita bread
- green onions, chopped (optional)
Prepare your scrambled eggs with the added milk and salt and pepper to taste.
Start with your spinach and then layer the eggs, tuna and garnish with chopped onions.
You can either layer in directly on the pita bread, or stuff it into the pita bread. It really all depends on how you like it. It took about five minutes to prepare and put together.
