Our Opinions (Shared from my sister Jen)

So first I must tell you that when I read the packaging for Two Moms in The Raw, I immediately felt a bond with Shari. We lost our dear mother to multiple sclerosis over a year ago. Shari on her quest to treat multiple sclerosis through diet has created the products under the brand, Two Moms in The Raw. I was introduced to their Nut Bars a few months back when my diet took an unexpected change requiring gluten-free foods. I had been eating gluten-free for a few weeks and felt like I was at the end of my rope. I was expecting another gluten-free disappointment (I love bread and baked goods!), but I was shocked. I felt like I had taken a bite of coffee cake! It was out of this world.

Now I have had the privilege to sample the other Two Moms In The Raw products. The truffles were incredible too! I’m now gluten and soy free. Chocolate candy is almost always a ‘No No’ due to soy lethicin being in almost anything produced that contains chocolate. However, the Truffles were a ‘Yes’ for me. No soy or gluten. I’m thoroughly impressed with the work Shari and her team has invested to produce these delicious products.

Hippocrates said, “Let food be thy medicine and medicine be thy food.” Diet exerts such a strong influence in treating disease. Let’s all remember those powerful words each bite we take.

    1. Please due research! My mother passed from MS in April 2011 and YES! Diet can play a huge, huge role. I am so sorry to hear about your sister.

  1. i would love to try the chai bars because i love chai tea! and its great that their goods are healthy – i dont think all of this fake sweetener stuff that is so popular is good for you. a little raw sugar for me – just in moderation!

  2. there are so many things i like here. first off, i like that this is a family bussiness. i also like that the products are organic and good for you. so many snacks are bad for the body but yours are good and they look like they taste awesome!! id love to try some and will definately be back here!!

  3. What a great story of the beginning of the company! My husband is a vegan and I’m always trying to find new and delicious snacks to try! These sound yummy!

I avoid soy too…and it is amazing how many products contain it… LOVE the idea of a chocolate that I can eat relatively guilt free 🙂

  5. A raw diet seems like it would be difficult to follow. What source of protein would there be in the diet besides nuts?

  6. I’m glad you posted about these products. I am into anything 100% vegan. Would love to find more natural products, and they have a great variety for future reference.
