Way Back Wednesday Link-Up Party {#17}

Way-Back-Wednesday
Hello all! It has been a fun-filled crazy week so far. I am so happy for hump-day. I have always loved Wednesday, sandwiched right in the middle of the week, where we eagerly look forward to what is coming at the end of the week but still have a little push left in us. I am praying today is a very productive day! We officially started back with homeschooling this week and it is always a little tough to get back into the groove but so far, is going better than I expected.

This week is the second edition of Way Back Wednesday that we are sharing on the blog. I can’t wait to see what posts you all share this week.

As mentioned last week, I’ll be introducing one of co-hosts for the next couple of weeks so you can check out their blogs as well. This week I’d like you to give a warm welcome to Gina from Money Wise Moms!

WBW Gina Lincicum - Moneywise MomsGina has been blogging about family finance and frugal living at MoneywiseMoms since 2008. She shares strategies for busy moms to balance the family budget with posts about meal planning, easy recipes, frugal fun activities, family travel, smart shopping and budgeting. She lives in Northern Virginia with her husband of 21 years and three children: 9-year-old identical twin girls and a 12-year-old son.

Here are a couple of my favorite posts from last week:

With it being the back-to-school season NOW, freezer cooking is at the top of my radar. It really takes a lot of preparation to make sure I can provide homecooked meals for my family and freezer cooking helps me in so many ways. I love to see what others are making and freezing and last week, Gina shared some of her favorite freezer meals.

Juicy Green Moms

So even though summer is winding down, it is still hot! SO hot! I love this homemade Strawberry Rhubarb popscicle recipe. My kids love helping me make homemade popscicles maybe almost as much as they enjoy eating them…maybe. And I love that Judith sweetens them with coconut sugar. Head over and check them out!
