What’s For Breakfast? Applesauce Bread Recipe

Okay, so it is closer to lunchtime but I thought I would share what we had for breakfast.  It smelled so good baking in the oven with a little breeze running through the house.  I am sooooo excited for autumn.  It is my favorite season, well close tie with spring.  So here is the recipe for delicious moist applesauce bread!
Applesauce Bread
1 1/2 cups organic Whole Wheat Flour (can use White Flour)
3/4 cup Organic Sugar or 1/2 cup Honey
1/2 teasp. Baking Powder
1/2 teasp. Baking Soda
1/4 teasp. Sea Salt
1 teasp. Cinnamon
1/4 teasp. Nutmeg (optional)
3/4 cup Applesauce
2 eggs
1/4 cup butter, melted
Preheat oven to 350 degrees.  Butter a bread pan and set aside.  Add all the dry ingredients together, stir.  Then add in all wet ingredients-eggs, applesauce, butter and honey (if using instead of sugar).  Stir until just mixed through.  Bake at 350 for 45-50 minutes, until toothpick or knife inserted in the middle comes out clean!

Thanks to Laura at Heavenly Homemaker for the recipe!
